It's time to pray. Women have left the streets, men rush to the mosque...The song of the muezzin is so poignant that the entire street seems to let out a heart-felt sigh. The dark has pounced on the city, and like Hop o'My Thumb, I try to find my way in the night... A point of light at the end of the lane... Is it an illusion? Would it be Ali Baba's cave? Just before I arrive at the corner, I hear a stir of dresses in the door... Would it be the secret castle of the Twelve Dancing Princesses? Oh... That's the dreaming shop for fairies ! And it's in a so ancient dwelling that Scheherazade herself might have stopped by it...

Bonjour, Marine.
Le règne des tissus est impressionnants en formant ainsi une sorte de tunnel autour des hommes qui travaillent.
J'aurais peut-être coupé plus en haut mais cela est une question personnelle...
En tout cas, une prise intéressante et souriante :).

Je suis séduit par cette composition, les couleurs, le coté avenant de cette boutique ou le commerçants prospères semblent heureux de poser pour la photographe.

an humourous note that takes us by hand to this very realistic suq image.
this is common in arabian cities...small shops full of light and particular colours...where an excellent and never-surrending clerk is always available.
well, I think it is almost impossible to resist to his eloquence...(maybe because this is just a shop for fairies!)

Ca ressemble vraiment à la caverbe d'Ali Baba, remplie de trésors. Ces tissus devaient être très beaux. J'aime bien la belle atmosphère de ton image.
