[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was planning to write something interesting on my next upload but truth be told, Iv just had the most awful day and don't have anything to say...well nothing good anyway. I'd better not be critiquing any photos tonight....hell no!!

I like the contrast between the suit and the other clothing. It is something different. The water pipes and street alley add an unusual atmosphere. Well done Tamatree.

Hi Tamarin,

Something about this scene intrigues me, must be the mystery I see and the lack of the note. ;) Not knowing anything about this part of the world, I am fascinated by the items surrounding the man, and his choice to wear a western suit jacket. Like the darker tones of the stone path that leads the eye along the alley.

hello tamarin

a very nice environmental portrait. abundant with detail and at the same time, not bringing about the feeling of beeing too busy. i like the composition with the closely cropped merchant a lot. seems, he did not mind your presence a bit...

with warm regards,
kristaps

Great photo Tamarin, this and your last one posted are def my favorite. I made a quick workshop where I cropped this photo. I'm curious what the shot looked like before you cropped it.

I've always been a fan of cropping since I was taught to shoot first to get the action and crop later...newspaper photography at it's finest... The cropping on this shot bothers me since it's so square like there's something to hide in the original shot.

Other than that minor complaint, great photo, and high praises for getting this intimate shot.

I hope you are feeling better.

Mark

Hello:
What can I say? There is a pro-magnum like feel to this photo. Excellent mastering of the aperture and the tones to achive a very estethic work.
Well done
Regards
Daniel

Hi Tamarin.
You can take a break about the note,I think the shot speaks by itself...
It's a very good shot in B&W,full of details, and with a strong but also effective contrast.I like more the format in the WS made by Marc,I find it shows all that your shot shows, and the crop don't subtract any information.I like the walking person coming from the out of focus. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Sonsoles.
