She was walking down the streets of Ibb's old town.
She was one of the only women in Yemen who voluntarely le herself be photographed, although at first she covered her mouth to keep her dignity intact.

Daniel: I think you will receive some attention for this 'veiled' image. Great smile here though I know you had to look for it. Nice and sharp with very realistic skin hues and a fine bokeh. This image is a winner in my book. regards, c

Very close and upfront and with a twinkle in her eyes that lifts it. Doing this with a wideangle is tough and makes a strong picture as pictures goes but can be a bit hard on the proportions of the face if you want a portrait style shot.

Somehow close and personal...
Her hand with that eternal notion...
As much seductive as flirtering as modesty...
Regardles of age, the race, the time...
There is an absolute joy and happiness in her her eyes...
You made that woman a happy woman.
Very happy woman !
If only for that alone, you deserve the highest prise.
That guy behind...?
Incredibly lively addition to the scene.
Have agreat WE, pal

You are incredibly lucky to find a woman on the street in Yemen who was prepared to be photographed, Daniel. And she turned out to be a subject with real character in her face too. Her eyes give away the smile under the hijab - a lovely capture. Cheers . . . David

That's quiet something. I know just how hard it is getting photographs of woman. On my last trip I made it my quest...and Im so glad I took the risks I did. Well done. I'm may post some of them up...but Im still pretty protective of them. Theyre like my little hard earned jewels.

this woman is definately enjoying the experience of having her photograph taken: you can see it in her eyes. I bet she thought she would go against convention for just once in her life and is still buzzing with the thrill of it. Good for her! And good for you to have captured her defiance.
