The town of Ibb is situated on a mountain ridge, surrounded by fertile land mostly though it seems to be used for growing qat, rather than anything nutritious

Unbelievable architecture built on the side of a mountain with such close living conditions all cramped together like that and they must have all had the same building techniques and suppliers. The one with the green windows stand out from the rest. TFS

Hello Steve, I think the uniform colour of the buildings combined with the type of architecture & it's density makes this an interesting image & thanks to your technique a very good reproduction. It also goes to show that if you are on drugs or stimulants nutritional food is not as important :-)
PS I hope you can find the time to do something (photography wise) with us on the weekend that L'Assessore is in here.

Long time no see, hope you're keeping well. Fascinating townscape here, reminds me of some of the towns in Southern Italy, Ragusa Ibla being on of them. Coincidence about the similarity of names? Excellent tight framing, great depth and definition. Thanks and have a lovely week.

i have really enjoyed viewing your series of photos taken from Yemen, its been a learning experience too!
it reminds me a bit of Tunisia, in its poorer areas.
love the architecture, all seemingly one color, looking like blocks of boxes or rectangles.
And i also appreciate your photos taken of the Mental Institution that you showed me. I looked at all of them.
thank you very much
