Photographer’s Note
All over Yemen you will discover incredible architecture such as Shibam. These tower houses are completely built of mud and rise 8 stories high. Most are over 500 years old. One tower house alone can accommodate 100 people or more.

Hello Simon
Have have seen photos of these houses quite a few times on TE - and I am always attracted to them as they are just so bizarre. Your capture being a tight crop is a little different. Well done and tfs, Marlene

Hi Simon,
Attractive old walled city has been captured with extreme sharpness and super-fine detail. Color and light are also beautiful, excellent definition.

Hi Simon,
in the meantime it´s a classical view, but every time a joy to see it. Good that you got so close and the light is beautiful.
Cheers Christian
