Photographer’s Note
I decided to put this photo on trekearth today as a tribute to the 4 South Korean tourists and their Yemeni guide who were killed by a bomb blast on Sunday in an apparent terrorist attack at this viewpoint that overlooks Shibam. I stood here a few weeks ago admiring this amazing place in awe and now I am deeply saddened.
