I was coming back from a trip in Ghana and Ivory Coast. After this long night flight, we were about to land when I woke up looking at this irreal landscape trough the window. I was awake in 2 seconds and dove for my camera between my feet to try to capture this unique view of Dubai. Here is the best of the several shots I took.

We all know how frustrating it is to take a picture from the window of a commercial plane. You have to be lucky with the direction of take-off/landing, your seat, and the quality of the window itself.

On the left, the Emirates towers, and in the middle, the Burj Dubai, tallest building of the world under construction.
I like the grain on the picture. It add something to the atmospher. Enjoy !

Hello Patrice

Photo's like this remind me just how far human civilization has come. It looks like some surreal furtiristic sci-fi city. really nice capture.

Hi Patrice.

Very good POV, amazing shot congrats. i dont want to repeat what others said. you are right its very difficult to shoot from plane especially when its landing the water drops starts defrost on the out side of the window. Very well done. I've got lucky shot over Iceland.

Sam.

Hi Patrice,
an outstanding view that you captured here !
Congratulations ! I´m sure you could correct the slight tilt in Photoshop and add a little contrast.
The rest is perfect.
Good one !
Christian
