| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is an image of architecture incorporated in the Souk Madinat Jumairah, a hotel and leisure resort, which also includes a small but touristy shopping mall. The design is hundreds of years old, and was utilised by Arab builders within most dwellings throughout the territories now known as the United Arab Emirates . The openings on all four sides, work as a form of air-conditioning, by drawing the wind in....and down into the tower, and then pushed throughout the dwelling, thereby cooling its occupants. |

Hello Grant,
I quite agree with Alain for the don't-understand- why-this-photo is (now almost !) pointless ! I llove it to, and your note is specially interesting, I learned a lot thanks to it ! Your photo is beautiful with those soft warm lights and lines.
