Photographer’s Note
Whenever driving the East Corniche Highway of Abu Dhabi, you'll pass by these long stretch of mangroves lining Al Reem Island. It may be the largest natural land habitat feature of Abu Dhabi that still hasn't been touched much by development until now...hopefully present development around these mangroves will not make much of a destructive impact to this remarkable ecosystem...

Hey Marvs,
Thats not your usual naturescape from Abu Dhabi, - or at least I would not guess it. So much greenery. Beautiful motive, a fine cadre and very vivid colors.
Enjoy.

Hi Marvs, your mangroves have an interesting stand there, it seems like there was a big storm not long time ago, hindi ko rin alam na may mangroves jan sa Abu Dhabi.. I was with a team in northern Palawan and Samar doing coastal resources survey, and this photo reminded me of those times medyo masmalalaki lang ang mangroves natin. Subukan mo puntahan ang sa Busuanga if you have time. Thanks for sharing...Alex
