this was taken from the man made wavebreaker that the government built in the 70's after they found the sea taking a little of land every year.

very nice composition -showing perhaps "the best of" Abu Dhabi starting with nature ,ending up with moder cityscape

Thats a lovely sue of the fish eye Robert and after some time! I like the way this one has shaped up. he colurs and action and the skyline have all been captured well

Hi Robert, excellent composition, love the way you have taken advantage of the fisheye lens distortion to bend the horizon line and incorporate the rider. On the other hand, the tonality of the image is a little off, at least for my personal taste; it makes the color very unrealistic.

Very unique fish-eye view of the city skyline broken up nicely by the jet-skier. Very vivid turquoise color to the sea and wonderful details to the rock foreground.

Spectacular image!!! I love the colors and the curvature of the image. It makes us travel with the man on the water motorbike through a round landscape The three main layers growing in magnitude and formed by the line of skyscrapers, the sea and the rocks surrounded by algae, is very well captured. Great shot!

Excellent fish-eye effect. Very spectacular. I like the green-blue sea, the cityscape from the BG and that water scooter, with its line of foam behind...

Oh Abu Dhabi, what a marvelous city it is. Love how organized and managed the city is. You have managed to capture the stunning waterfront in the most beautiful way.
The last visit to abu dhabi there was an Islamic Arts Museum on display, I saw things that make you simply proud on how amazing the Islamic art is. Its real beauty, real art, real history. Some pieces were over a 1000 years old. Sad no photographs we allowed.
