The building with the circular 'cap' is the famous 'Deira Tower'; we can see an attempt to blend modern architecture with older surroundings here. Its design is also said to have concentrated on softening the impact of the outside-heat from passing in.
The tower houses offices, apartments and shops which are famous for carpets and rugs. (I am yet to go there, though. )
Nearby is the Ban-Yas Square which is a good shopping place for textiles, electronics and artworks. |

Nice attempt Nithin. Next time, try to apply the rule of 3rds, especially for shots like this, it will be a well balanced photo. Basically what it wud mean is have, water only in the lower 3rds and sky in the upper 3rds of your image and within this frame, capture the skyline.
I like very much the contrast between squares and straight lines of the buildings and curved lines of the boats and the waves. Good job Nithin !
Perfect depth, lighting, and perspective for this colorful image. nadir
Hi Nithin,
I like the good architecture, and certainly, the photos that catch her in all its beauty. This one is good, the buildings offer us its nice geometry in a good framing, and I like the graphical contrast with the ships in FG.
Good work.
Best regards,
Josep
