This is a view on a part of Abu Dhabi's skyline, taken from the corniche. Abu Dhabi doesn't have those ultra high (300+ meter) skycrapers like in Dubai (some 150km north of Abu Dhabi). The city is divided in blocks, just like in the big cities in the US.
At the end of the Corniche is Emirates Palace and just in front of the coast is an artificial island with a huge mall.

Welkom terug in het koude kikkerlandje!
Prachtige kleuren, die lucht. Silhouette van de pal op de voorgrond is erg sfeervol met de lichtjes van de gebouwen op de achtergrond.

A stunning sunset cityscape! Great colours and details and I love the inclusion of the palms to give us the context of the city

Hi Gilbert, Lovely capture with a beautiful sky and the near palm a silhouette. This brings back memories for me as I used to live in an apartment on the corniche with a view of the island, which at the time was not developed at all and was a stunning beach. The place has changed a lot! Thanks for sharing
