Photographer’s Note
Taken in the desert while on the way from Dubai to Hatta.
This tree (or what is left of the tree) captured attention almost immediately as all you could see otherwise was the sands for kilometers ahead!

The texture of the desert is very well captured and the tree stands alone makes a good contrast to the sand.
Good composition!

Maybe a little too much sky for my personal liking, but aside from that I like the composition and details such as the ripples in the sand.
Nice one!

Hello Prabish,
This is a good image that would be improved if you could have moved to the left and placed the tree on the right third of the image, maybe even placed the tree into the dunes more and not so much into the sky to make the dunes even higher than what they are. If you have Photoshop, try cutting the tree out and placing it to the right third, just to the right of the rock or form in the top right dune.
I like the bird in the tree too, did you notice that, and if so, what was it?
Good exposure and focus...

This image has a lot of very nice aspects, Prabish. It is very graphic, there is interesting light and shadow, and the texture of the sand is well brought out by your somewhat low POV. But I think there is too much symmetry here--the horizon is near the middle vertically, and the tree is near the middle side to side. I'd suggest cropping off half the sky and putting the tree distinctly off center. Then a good photo will become great! Regards, Ken.

Prabish,
The sky looks clear, there's enough light to bring the shadow play to the scene, but still ... I would correct the colours a little bit. The sand should be red and the sky - blue, don't you agree?

Hi Prabish,
Good idea to have taken this picture with the varying dunes in the middle. I presume you were facing the sun in this case, which wasnt quite the apt thing to do. Had you been on the other side, the sand would have been brighter, and the skies more blue. Clarity of the dune lines are very good! Hope to see more from you.
