Photographer’s Note
It's a proven fact each one of the seven Emirates has a specific colour of its sand. Dubai's sand is mostly redish. There ate brownish, grayish, yellowish, greenish, etc.
First day of the year we spent in the desert 50 km SW of Dubai. It was windy and you can literally see the wind blowing over the dunes' tops.
Hope you can feel it.
Ben

Hi Ben
Like in an advertisement; nice and a bit comic shot.

An incongruous site of all these flash and no doubt expensive off roaders atop a sand dune.technically it is ok but I think the composition looks a bit like a snapshot and a tighter composition would have improved the shot.I have done a workshop to show what I mean

Like Albrecht, an ad was also the first thing that came to my mind. Nice to see those tracks and sand flying on wind and from the wheels.
About cropping, I'd settle somewhere between yours and Cliffy's workshop.
The clouds would benefit from contrast increase.
