Intersting shot. Good contrast although the building to the left is a bit overexposed, unless thats the effect you wanted. Do you know what this boat was used for?

Nice photo,
i like the use of B&W effect on this old dhow..

check a pic i posted some time ago...tell me what u think...but i used sephia effect on the dhow instead of B&W...

Hi mariyah,

This is another nice composition and black & white is also a good choice for this photo.
While it is not possible to know what obstacles were around the boat which you were framing out of the shot. I would have not cut off so much of the subject and the bottom of the boat.
You have a good eye for detail.
