taken around the start of the dubai shopping festival at the jumeirah beach hotel (i think) were about 20 of these highley decorated camels
the annual shopping festival is something to be seen its amazing although this years (2006) was cancelled because of the death of sheik in january

I like the idea in stead of a cow the y use this camels in the miidle east.

Got your message that this had been posted. Bravo! How fun to have camels in Dubai. Thanks for posting this. It will definitely go into my Animal (not cows) Parade Theme (once I get the Theme up). BTW, vey nice photo; I like the blue camel against the white (with the bit of green for contrast). I cannot imagine that Dubai is cool, but this photo certainly gives that illusion.

Nicely painted camel, I like blue color here. In our famous department store on the Red Square (GUM) we have also something like this, more then 20 painted caws... :-)
