Photographer’s Note
During a 3 day stopover in Dubai I wandered around the Gold Souk area of Deira, Dubai. Amongst all the little shops selling gold, gold and more gold I saw this row of mannequins.

Hi Marlene,
This is a very nice take of this original and interesting motive, as well as a very good way to show us a little example of how different usages can be from one country to another. Fine colours and sharpness. Thank you very much for sharing.

Hi Marlene,
It reminds me of my residencey there in Duabi and it is fact that heavy weights are put on their feet to keep them stand though they can't as the financial position of an individual is very fragile in there. It is much meaning full shot for the viewers those whom intend to get there, TFS.

hi Marlene
This is a good post for TE.
Very nicely captured dress code and style of another part of the world. Well done. I thought they are real people from the thumbnail! Funny how bricks are used at the base.

marlene
nice and funny view of these local manequins, I liked the information inside the image, the couple more "free" at right and the other, more traditional, at left.
