Photographer’s Note
I was having breakfast early morning at the hotel by the pool, the sun is almost shining, when I looked at the pool, I saw the Grand Mosque reflection, its like the water is limitless and the mosque is floating.
The sun rays comes through the gazebo, i decided to get to my room and get my camera and that is the result of this breakfast story.
Enjoy the seen as I did.
Sam.

The distant mosque in reality is massive but your photo paints it as diminutive--a creative and interesting choice. The rising, burning sun behind the gazebo makes for an interesting effect. The picture's tilted a bit. The pool bars and the crane by the mosque are a bit distracting, but what can you do? Nice work, Sam.

Hello Sam,
This image shows a very peaceful and quiet scene and the morning is allowing soft tones all around. Good classical composition with one third for the water and two thirds for the sky. It is only a pity that you cut the reflection of the building on the right, but maybe it was not possible from your point of view.
Have a nice evening.
Best regards, Christian

Hello Sam,
This is a splendid picture.
I would have removed the objects on the left of the picture though to create a wider perspective.
That's just a small detail, your picture remains fantastic.
Well done

Hi Sam,
Wonderful serene and peaceful surrounding, i would love to have breakfast here and enjoy the first sunrays of the day. The blue toning makes the image very fresh, but still there is a warm mood inside...i like this a lot.

Picturesque view! Everything seems so calm, the bright colours that dominate in the photo create a nice contrast with the pagoda on the right. Good choice of POV. Best Regards!

Well Sam, I do enjoy this scene! A very serene atmosphere comes from your picture. I like the blue hues and the reflections. It's a shame the one on the right is a little cut off though.
I'm not sure about the bit on the left but it kinds of brings balance to the whole scene. It was well worth a shot and you managed it beautifully.
Yours,
Philippe

Hello Sam,
The 'floating' white Grand Mosque is lovely. Even though the Mosque is a long way away in the distance, it is impressive in size. A grand design too. This is a splendid picture!
Warm wishes,

Sam,
There do seem to be quite a lot of LARGE SPACES in the UAE - I guess there's just a lot of empty space to fill out there! (Granted that this is a pretty wide-angle shot).
Pretty effective too although, I fear, the life of endless sunlougers and swimming pools is not for me ;O

Sam,
Very surreal scene, The distant Mosque reflected on the pool is wondeful. It looks like pool in infinite. Beautiful blue in the sky and pool, very soft and easy to look at. Peaceful and tranquil place for a nice breakfast. Great work. Thanks for sharing.

ciao Sam,
perfetta simmetria tra cielo e acqua con l'inquadratura che restituisce alla foto un pò di quella luminosità che le manca.

Breakfast by the pool with that view in the background, yes, I would like to experience that little pleasure. The light behind the gazebo is excellent and the light blue is really very peaceful. This is an excellent photo. Well done.

Hi Sam,
A great view. I imagine you appreciated a lot.
I like the sweet blue harmony of your composition.
The Grand Mosque seems small and at the same time, still impressive. Nice reflections. The only (very) small critique I could say is that the reflection of the roof on the right is slightly cut.
As far as I am concerned, I prefer the version without taking out the element on the left. I can't say why, but I think it gives some balance to the whole composition.

Marianne

Hello, Sam!
I like the deep space in this scene. The tone of this picture is almost monochrome, but nicely blue. Interesting foreground and some objects in the background make the perspective really deep and interesting!

Sam,
A well timed & well managed.
Again light here could have been a spoiler, except for your composition which manages & uses it to the maximum advantage.
Congrats for this exceptional shot.
