Photographer's Note

Reminiscence of coliseum although it is a café or a bar, maybe, even a restaurant. It’s located in Corniche Park near a pond. It looks quite good at night. Street and ambient light really can make a difference, especially if you’re ready (wealthy enough) to invest in it. And it’s also pretty entertaining for photography. I tried to take this photo by putting my camera on a fence and taking 10 sec exposure, but water was too blurred for my taste in this situation because the lights were somehow very close. Totally different effect than long exposure over the sea surface where lights are somewhat distant. Here, it was just too distracting and eyes could not get used to such contrast. Hence, I took one with short exposure and higher iso which I liked much better and here it is.

Btw, if someone wonders how the photo is so sharp, well, to tell you honestly, I was a bit slow to learn how to make them sharp or my eyes were simply faulted not seeing that. Well, after publishing almost 200 photos on TE, I learned that widest dimension is 790 pixels, and not 800 (please correct me if I'm wrong). After realising that and looking at my other photos (800 px), some of them look pretty blurry to me. So, don't let TE resize your photos as it may not do it as good as if you did it properly by yourself.
