Photographer’s Note
I lift you off the earth, mundane and glum
Out the solar system, way past the sun
Till all the fear in your heart is gone,
And so on
Walking through the world with no pressure
Inner peace beyond measure
I was leaving, wearing what I came in
When a man said Stop... I wanna have what you have
And get what you got
I got it sleeping rough on the streets in the rain
I got it, learning to share my people's pain
I got it making flowers grow in hearts of stone
I got it cause I always take the long way home
I've been walking through the world with no pressure
Air's fresher, full of vigour
Life becomes my mirror
The further I go, the more I know
Oh yeah, wherever the wind blow
I'll be there
Turned up in places that I never intended to go
And so ended my youth
I once depended on proof
Now I'm in the flow
There are things I know beyond knowing
I've never seen a seed growing
I was going back home
When a man said Stop... I wanna have what you have
And get what you got
I got it sleeping rough on the streets in the rain
I got it, learning to share my people's pain
I got it making flowers grow in hearts of stone
I got it cause I always take the long way home

A piece of foretaste from my photos from Turkey, for Korkut, who I didn't have the chance to meet jet and who was the most curious and impatient to see a photo from his beloved Istambul. Taken at Camondo stairs in Galata. Click here for a different POV! ((:

Hi Marton,
Whenever I see a Camondo stairs photo I say to myself "I should go there and take photos". It never happens, but again, I really should go there and take some photos :)
A nice POV to stairs
I like long exposure resulting with a ghost.
TFS, best,

Hi Marci,
A very good contribution to the Comondo Stairs theme. This is an original POV for the stairs, one one of the best imho. The modern ghost is perfectly situated. Best wishes,

Hi Marton, A superb B/W composition, the texture & light is brilliant & I love the upwards POV, the curves & shapes of the walls are wonderfully interesting & the ghost like figure finishes the picture perfectly, kind regards Wilson.

Szia Marci!
Sajnos keveset vagyok itt, de rátok nézek. Most elég jól vagyok, habár voltak rosszabb napjaim is!
A kép naon tetszik! Szeretem azokat a képeket, ahova a mozgást is beleszerkesztik:)) Nekem tetszik!
Pussz, légy jó!

Szia Marci!

Szia Marci!
Tetszik a játék a geometriával, a szellemalak is nagyon jó. Az eltérő karakterű falak kicsit zavarnak, de ezt csak a helyszínen lehetett volna korrigálni - már, ha egyátalán.

Hi Marci,
The B/W gives a mysterious and a bit dramatic touch to the composition. The stairs have a strong perspective, and the person who goes down across them, blurred by the movement, as a ghost, adds a great dynamism to the scene.
Your suitable title remembers me also a Supertramp's song.
It is a creative and interesting work, well executed.
Best regards,
Josep
