Photographer’s Note
When I woke up I looked out of the window and saw some fantastic sunrisecolors and the first balloons in the air.
Without having coffee(I HATE IT!!!!!!!) I drove a few kilometers to take some sunris shots. But when I arrived I had this view.
Of course I was very dissapointed and used a sunsetfilter here.
TO THE MODERATORS: THIS IS NOT MY DOG AND NOT MY NEIGHBOUR`S ONE. THIS IS NOT A PET IMAGE!!!!!!
but in another workshop you can see a petimage.

Oh YES, my friend Leo
I can see a pet on the picture! I can see also in the far backgroud a nude girl... I think this is NOT a picture for TE. Of course I joke!!!! I really like this unforgettable landscape of Cappadocia.
Cheers

Salut Leo, guten Abend! Barbara.
PS. Geht mir gleich :))) denn ohne Kaffee (am Liebsten Espresso) geht gar nichts ...

Hallo Andreas,
es ist natürlich immer ägerlich wenn man zur falschen Zeit am richtigen Ort immer den Gegebenheiten hinterherhechtet; die Bearbeitung mit diesem Filter gibt dem Bild eine ganz ungewöhnliche Note; mir persönlich gefällt aber das Original aber doch ein Stückchen besser (ist eben die Realität..);

Andreas: Great to have the dog in this one as well. The Cokin filter makes the image here - even if it departs a little from realism. c

Hello my friend LEO,
Absolutely beautiful with this sort of sunrise and you find so many balloons in the air when you just woke up, must be pretty exciting to capture it in first hand! sorry for not having your coffer so thanks for your effort, hehe!
I especially liked the carpet-liked clouds over the land, makes the sky more awesome!
my thanks once again
take care

Good result with this filter, the comparaison with the original is very interesting, impressive all thes ballon in the sky, well captured even the light is strong on the horizon.

Bonsoir Andreas
Bravo.

Leo,
While the light is not perfect but the cloud formation is interesting with some light coming through from the horizon. The filter work its magic to bring this image to life. Fake or real, at least we know what to make of it with you clarification of using the filter instead of insisting that this is the way it really is. :) regardless, I think it would still have been a good image, with or without the filter, maybe not as drammatic. Thanks Leo.

Hello Andreas,
a really good fake. Good job, if I did not read your note I would believe it. and it is true that the shot without the filter is quite dull. Good lesson for me, thanks.

Hi Andreas,
The dog may be a supporting character beside the beautiful sky and a landscape only. I see it in that manner, wake up for this photo quickly was worthy. The landscape, the lights and the balloons provide wonderful mood to the picture. Congratulations. Have a nice day

Good evening Andreas,
To be real honest, i don't like these sunset filters. There are from an era that film was all there was to enhance somthing that could not be done in the pp.
But what i do like is the dog ;-) No really, i like that, a kind of gatekeeper to the land and above of that all those balloons. Must be a great site seeing this. Coffee can be taken all day, shooting these kind of pictures not, so don't complain ;-)))
Have a great evening, Henk

Hi Leo,
This one deserved to be the original post, indeed. The filter gave you a surrealistic result, but hey, this is Cappadocia, the most surreal place on earth. The balloons look so tiny and charming, and i like that. They look like blood drops in the sky. LOL for the canine and "this is not a pet image" remark :))
Cheers,
Deniz

Hi Leo,
The color tones (with the sunset filter) looks fantastic, so harmonized... And I saw also a lovely dog , he looks like hungry.
The sky is awesome...
Congrats and have a nice day,

Splendide!

Hi Andreas
I already told you how much I was bluffed by this picture with a spectacular view. But as I discover it again today, I have to say that I feel interesting the add of the photo in WS, without filter. It makes a huge difference. This one is full of poetry and romanticism, and what you assert to be a dog, was, in my imagination, a lost young goat calling stridently its family... I love the turbulent clouds. And your note is funny.
Best regards
Marine

Andreas from looking at the scale of the dog on the distant ground and the baloons above it seems that the dog should be much smaller in comparison. Glad you chose to use the filter and also posted the unfiltered photo to convey your frustration in the drastic light change. I guess all good photographers need to have their coffee long before sunrise and then get the photographic weapons ready for the day. Very nice shot and thanks for sharing.

Salut Leo..
Bravo

Wow !! That's an incredible show, unreal ! Like drops getting out of the ground, into a strange bloody sky (good working despite the BIG filter)... The large frame and far pov are the best to enjoy the whole place and the tiny dog in the foreground is an unexpected interesting detail.
A lot of poetry here...

Although this looks unreal, I think we should allow you this as you even went without your coffee trying to capture something decent;)
I do like the dog here though standing guard on his landscape. He makes it - not the filter.

Hi Leo,

Hallo Andreas.
with or without filters this landscape is magical you just have to adjust the settings of your camera as the beauty is there to be catched.
I see some irony in your words on the note, but as I'm not too present here those days Ijust can think that our 'mo(o)dies' take the WS photo away as they were blind enough to see only yhe dog but not the Cappadocia landscape behind it (am i right?).
Nevertheless with or without the hot air balloons this is a breathtaking view but beware the pet is still there :)))
Cheers.

Stunning shot.
