Anatolian balloons
anatolian balloons
is one of the companies which offer balloon drives over Capadokia`s unique landscape.
Photo is taken early morning from the rooftop of "Stato cave pension" in Göreme,where I stayed 5 nights.
The morning before I counted 29 balloons.

This must be a brilliant place to take a balloon flight, especially as it's light when they fly, not like in Central Australia. The balloon flights didn't exist at the time I was in Capadoccia. I like the balance between the peak and the balloon which stands out so well against the sky and the advertising is well placed. The clouds create such an interesting texture.

un ballon au milieu d'un tel ciel, il perd la vedette pour les nuages, un format vertical bien choisi avec la pointe du rocher, c'est bien vu

this minimal compo of low POV balloon and the top of a chimney in front of puffy clouds is nice, but why did you put that fantastic one in the WS? It is definitely one of the most original and fascinating "cappadocia balloons" photo i've ever seen.

Something complete different than the normal view from a balloon above Capadokia and i have to admit that i like this pov. Enhanced by the red of the ballon and the patches of blue in the sky ends up with a very good contrasting image....but it is your framing what i like most...well done.

tolles Bild! Der rote Heißluftballon gibt einen super Kontrast zu dem blau weißen Himmel ab. Einwandfreie Schärfe und super Komposition, wieder einmal sehr gute Arbeit!

quite the interesting composition of the Anatolian Balloon with the perfect sky conditions and the detail of the hoodoo in the lower portion of the image giving the impression stretching into sky and wishing it could detach from the earth and levitate too.

I'm living in Turkey , but I couldn't have a chance to go Cappadocia for photo :( Especially the balloons inseparable component of beautiful horses' country. By getting the hill into cadrage you mentioned the special geomorphologic structures too. Very good composed, good light management..

Wow, love this minimalist and graphic composition, Leo. What a sky making such a perfect background. And what a smart balance bettween the two elements. It also brings me good memories from 3 years ago, where I had exactely this same experience...The WS is also an amazing picture and deserves a post of its own. Congrats.

I like very much this one. The composition is audacious, the vivid colors are strong and the presence of the clouds, that seem to have gathered to look at the balloon and open some space just to let it fly higher in the sky, is a great add. But I am also completely bluffed by the photo in WS with a spectacular view!

Hi Leo,
Just the two elements in this shot of the balloon and the rock which are placed so strategically in the composition create an interesting and unusual image, its almost like the rock is pointing to the balloon. The dappled clouded sky is a great background and a good contrast to the red. Nice!

Did you take the balloon ride here, or is it as expensive as in Bagan? Compo. is excellent as with just a balloon, this would have been just another balloon shot, but with the cone of the chimney at the bottom...excellent. Good work!
