Photographer’s Note

waiting for Halloween
I don`t think that Halloween is celebrated in Turkey or even known,but a pumpkinsoup there taste delicious.
Photo is take in the valley of swords,close to Göreme,the touristic "capital " of Cappadokia.

na da wollte ich grad schauen, ob du was neues hast und da seh ich dich in der Gallerie, das ist schon das 2. mal, dass das passiert ;-) Super Komposition und tolle Farben, genau wie ich es von dir gewohnt bin! Super Himmel und eine beeindruckende Landschaft, wirklich 1a, klasse Arbeit, aber das bin ich gewohnt!

Very unusual point of view of this frequently photographed area. I like the way you got both pumpkins on the grounds and "fairy chimneys" in the distance well in focus.

Hi, Leo. The pumpkins make a very good foreground and contrast well with the brown colour of the soil. The strange rock formations stand well out against the sky. It looks like a fairy tale.

quite the appropriate shot for the moment. Yellow pumpkins scattered in this landscape with these hoodoos providing the most bizarre apperence. You certainly got a quite harsh light, but nothing that disturbs the image.

Hallo Andreas,
No surprise that the yellow pumkins add a great contrast and detail in the photo. The low pov, but also the hoodoo's add great interest in the overal composition. No need for a deep blue sky, the lower section is more then interesting to leave the top more on it's own....very nice shot.

Du hast aber auch "ein Händchen" für interessante Blickwinkel und Szenarien. Dies hier ist nicht nur originell sondern auch wunderschön. Landwirtschaft vor diesem unglaublichen Hintergrund - großartig! Wieder ein sehr sehenswertes Bild!

the yellow pumpkins make a nice contrast with the brown ground,and this is well enhance by the low POV!Of course,the typical formations make a splendid background,and the blue sky make this picture very nice to look at!

Hallo Andreas,
Einfach Klasse ! Man muss Glueck haben. Selbst fuer mich, der oefters dort in der Umgebung gewesen ist, ist es das erste Mal dass ich einen derartig tollen Kuerbisfeld sehe. Normalerrweise sieht man fast nur Weinberge.
Tolles Blickwinkel und wunderbare Gestaltung.

This is great, I love all those little bright orange pumkins with these wonderful rock formation in the back. A wonderful combination. and the warm golden light illuminating the whole scene so well. The blue sky with feather like clouds constrasting the earth tone perfectly, the pano view of the valley is just OMG wonderful. I'm speechless. Thanks so much.

It is a nice pumpkin field view with the famous rock formation in the background. This is an original way of showing the region. The low POV is great and the yellow spots are very pleasant to the eye. Well done.

The rock formations are interesting and provide a nice repeating pattern through the shot. The pumpkins add nice color to the shot with their random placement in the scene. The deep blue sky creates nice contrast for the scene.
