Photographer’s Note

Merhaba!
I`m back from Turkey,where I spent 24 days in:
Antalya,Patara,Egirdir,Göreme,Kizkalesi,Bozyazi,Anamurand Gazipasa.
This is the view out of the "love valley" at the village Uchisar which is situated arround this big rock,which is called Uchisar castle.
This year I had a lot of rain there,very unusual for september.

The way you've used the impressive rock is very well though and gives depth to your beautiful picture.
The cloudy sky is a marvelous back-cloth and you've captured a great light to enhance the natural colors.

Mir gefaellt die Auseinandersetzung ziwschen der blauen Himmel..und den gebrannten warmen Farben aus Kappadokien.
Der Blick geht von den Steinen bis zum Uchisar Schloss, den ich auch besucht habe.

Happy to find you again on TE.
Excellent POV who allows to appreciate curious relief of Cappadoce. The long perspective is amplified by this beautiful sky and I like following by my eyes the very attractive small valley to discover the village against the hill at the bottom. Colors are sweet, I like the variety of the greens of trees.

Superb photograph, one would be believed on another planet !!! I see that the climatic conditions were with you lasting this stay. I like much your point of view with this rock in foreground which gives a pleasant depth to the landscape. The natural colors are very beautiful, I like much this interesting composition. Hi Andreas, this is a beautiful landscape there, this is a great idea to have included the rock in foreground, that adds something more to the compo. Colors are quite surreal but i like that !

Hallo Andreas,
Good to have you back my friend and despite the bad weather, it seems you have some nice ones. This old town is classic, i stood here myself some years ago.
The picture is very bright which suits him well, just as the composition and on top of it some wonderful cloud formations for even extra depth.
And although the sharpness in front is very good, i miss some ultimate sharpness in the second part of the image....could have some more in those parts i think.
But hey, who am i, so don't pay to much attenttion to that ;-)

willkommen zuhause! Schön, dass du gesund und munter von deiner Reise zurück gekehrt bist. Und dann gleich so ein tolles Bild im Gepäck. Eine tolle Komposition mit dem sandigen f/g und eine schöne Tiefe, wobei der Himmel auch perfekt dazu beiträgt.
Und ich bin mir sicher, dies ist erst der Anfang von ganz vielen tollen Posts aus der Turkei! :-) Ich freu mich schon auf den Rest!

Salut Leo! Ich habe das Bild heute Morgen gesehen und musste losrennen (brunchen gehen ... bis jetzt und es ist nach sechs Uhr abends ...), aber die Wolken, die habe ich sofort entdeckt, diese kleinen Flocken am Himmel, die das Blau aufbrechen und den Himmel dynamisch machen. Den Vordergrund finde ich interessant gewaehlt mit diesem beige-weissen Gestein. Ein interessanter Einstieg! Willkommen zurueck ... ich weiss es ist Herbst, aber der hat auch schoene Seiten, Kaelte auf oder ab :))))))))))) Liebe Gruesse + guter Wochenbeginn ... Barbara.

It looks a bit different from Myanmar... but it is equally interesting, I like how the landscapes earns its interest crawling over the foreground rock, a good start with that image where I also like the nice clouds giving dynamism to the sky.

24 days! That is some holidays!

Well, you started the Turkey series here with such a splendid landscape shot of a fine village. I can see why it is called love valley, all will fall in love with this POV.

The FG sandy hill is used very well for composition. The best part of this shot for me is the bright light all over the valley and the blue sky with attractive cloud pattern. tfs
