Photographers Note
We are lucky these days, there is a new exhibition on Salvador Dali which started and people are queuing to see the artworks. The place is a bit dark, so it was an occasion to find out about the D700 and how it managed in low light and high ISO.

hi, Izzet,
even though the kids are little blurry, it doesn't matter to make the painting stand out. lighting is prefect on the painting. good catch and thanks for sharing!

once again, great results under "unfriendly" light conditions. I love such tricky light conditions, which might be hard to handle but very rewarding in the end. you did it very well and I love this shot. I also hope to visit the exhibition soon.
best wishes,

Merhaba Izzet,
The other day I was listening about this exhibition in the radio and I was wondering if it show up in TE. It had to!
You are a master in many subjects, and capturing the human atmosphere of exhibitions is certainly one of them. Great POV and framing, amazing light and colours. It's hard to believe that you used such a low f. stop, shutter speed and so high ISO, considering the flawless clarity, sharpness and absence of noise or grain. I wish my camera was so good at ISO... 200.
I think I saw that painting in Dali Museum of Figueres in August, but as Dali was quite prolific and me being almost completely ignorant of work, maybe I am wrong.
Regards, José.

Hello Mr. Keribar,
As friends told you, the light here, is the most amazing of all. And the wide angle gathered all the crowd of children in a well-packed up compo. I visited the exhibition on the second day, and it was too crowded to make a desirable photo, therefore it certainly deserves a second time visit.
Best regards,
Deniz

Wonderfully composed and shot, with superb quality in such tricky light conditions, beautifully mastered and superbly composed... needless to say.
Best personal regards. Salvator.

Merhaba Izzet,
I heard about the Dali exhibition coming to the Sabanci Museum. The dynamics of this crowd resonates the children are deeply engaged, the lighting is spectacular, and the slow shutter speed leaves a sense of the motion among the crowd they are not static. In the new book, "Leonardo's Universe," there is a National Geographic photograph of Leonardo's "Last Supper," in a similar atmosphere. The painting is in perfect focus, permanent and eternal, while the crowd is seen in a blur. The book will not hit the market place until January 9, but I am giving a talk at the Smithsonian on Nov. 5, when advance copies will be made available.
I am curious about the performance of the D700. I am embarrassed to say, I did not know about this model coming up. Here I go from the D70 to the D200, and you've already graduated from the D300 to the D700.
Warm regards, Izzet.

Hello Izzet,
You must be very pleased with the D700. The lighting in your photo is exquisite as well as the balance of the composition and the moment you captured.
I enjoyed very much browsing through your gallery on TE and added you as a favorite of mine. Your skill and accomplishments as a photographer are to be greatly admired. Congratulations!
Warm wishes,
Betty
