There are some historical ruins in the center of the town of Cesme between the apartment houses so some of the old houses are not let to be demolished. These are from this group and there are still some persons living in them.

Cesme'nin merkezinde, apartmanlarin arasinda bazi tarihi kalintilar var ve bu nedenle bazi eski evlerin yikilmalarina izin verilmiyor. Bunlar o gruptan ve hala icinde yasayanlar var.

Çeşme belediyesinin çevre ve sit alanı konusunda duyarlılığını biliyorum.Sonuçta Çeşme,Kuşadası gibi çirkin yapılaşmadı iyi kötü korunabildiEski limanı çevreleyen çamlarla kaplı yamaç hala öyledir umarım.7-8 yıl önce gezmiştik oraları.Eline sağlık güzel bir tanıtım karesi.

Hello Tulay, There is some sadness in this photo of the few remaining old houses and the wire fence. The soft light and deep shadows increase this feeling.

The photo reflects well the sad mood of these abandoned houses, however the new buildings in the sunshine, if they give an interesting contrast, are changing the feel about this photo ; maybe would I have cloned them out to isolate the main subject...
