A Photo Exhibition in Bornova Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo exhibition is composed of ATATURK's photos, our great hero and founder of our Republic. The location is one of the streets of a new, modern and grand openair-shopping center in Izmir, Forum Bornova. It consists of streets full of boutiques and stores selling fashioned and trademark goods. There are cafes, restaurants, movies, too. It became the center of the city in a short time. The exhibition was very nice, but I'm not so sure how I could reflect this event to you with my simple camera. I hope you like.

Bu fotograf sergisi buyuk kurtarici, cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu buyuk Ataturk'un fotograflarindan olusmakta. Serginin bulundugu yer Izmir'in yeni alisveris merkezlerinden Forum Bornova'nin bir caddesi. Forum Bornova yeni, modern ve buyuk bir acik hava alisveris merkezi. Moda- marka urunlerin satildigi butik ve magazalarin bulundugu caddelerden olusmakta. Kafe, restoran ve sinemalarin da bulundugu bu yer kisa zamanda sehrin merkezi haline geldi. Sergi cok guzeldi fakat bu etkinligi size basit tipteki fotograf makinemle tam anlamiyla yansittigimdan emin olamadim. Yine de paylasmak istedim, umarim begenirsiniz.

Tülay hanım iyi Pazarlar ;

Forum Bornova Alışveriş merkezi çok ilginç görünüyor ve bu sergiyi orada açmak dahada ilginç , kafalar yukarıda hem gezip hem de Ülkemiz Kurucusu Ulu Önder Atatürk'ü fotoğraflarla yeniden keşvediyorlar , elinize sağlık renklerin keskinliği ve bu güzel kadrajınız için tebrikler ,tekrar iyi pazarlar ...

Hello Tulay,
nice shot under difficult lighting conditions of this exhibition.As i see there aren't a lot of people in the street to watch the photo exhibition.I think that photos are so high that is difficult to see someone.Informative your note.

belle photo de cette rue pietonne ou sur le dessus se fait une exposition photo, bonne idée et belle réalisation.
A quand l' exposition de TE dans les rues, du monde entier bien sur.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté malgrés que la prise est faite le soir.

The succession of artworks makes a good subject and the exposure is good measured on the Berska sign, possibly a vertical framing could be interesting as well here.

Tulay,
a good night image where the pictures of the "turkish father" stands out in the dark and drawing my attention. I wonder if the horizontal presentation is the best or if the vertical would not have been suited better. Including the people walking there would be of some value for this shot.

Keske ben de orada olup görebilseydim bu fotograf sergisini. Notunuzda olagnüstü. Tabii daha marifeli bir fotograf makinesi, sehba üzerinde, belki daha detay gösterirdi, fakat bu resmin muhtesem tarafi Atatürkü saymak, sevmek.

Hello Tulay. A photo exhibition is always a special event, - particularly for photographers. Usually these exhibitions are retrospectives. The pictures developed usually in a time, when the photographers dragged heavy and unmanageable cameras with itself. People such as Henry Cartier Bresson began to work then with small cameras (Leica), - and the world was surprised at the fantastic results. Above all these photos were authentic and spontaneous. They worked simply more alive. Even with smaller cameras one can photograph outstanding. Yours is in any case succeeded. It shows the really important in excellent way.
