Photographers Note
For those who visit Konya, a big town in Central Anatolia, the Aziziye Mosque, built in the 19th century, is also an interesting landmark. The architecture is characterized with huge windows which let a lot of light inside the building, somehow different from traditional mosques. This exactly where I stood, at a corner between two windows, and I tried to find an angle from there with my extra wide angle.

Hi Izzet,
I'm a newbie photographer and i always take photos using the sun as the source of light. It's amazing how you handle indoor shots like this, the flash exposes the detail of this photo very well. I'm impressed.

Bonjour Izzet,
Une superbe composition : graphique avec l'harmonie des lignes et des courbes, et picturale avec celle des couleurs.

That's a fantastic POV, Izzet! The columns and the windows on both sides lead us to the colorful and sharp decorations of the dome. Superb! Daniel

This is quite different from most mosques, as you say, and makes the photo quite interesting. Great architectural shot, which can be difficulat to line up correctly (maybe not for you, but it certainly is for me!). I like the incredible detail also. Well done!

Hello Izzet. This photo has excellent quality details and wonderful composition features. Hard to stand and check to make sure that its perfectly balanced on both sides. When I compare the sharp detail in this photo to your latest posting I have to say this one is noticable sharper. If I knew the reason why the difference in sharpness I would make changes to how I shoot at night.
Excellent work though Izzet!

Hello Izzet Bey,
Wow, the pov, the composition is absolutely wonderful. The colors, the white, the true colors of the mosque's walls and pillars is absolutely superb. Really impressive.
Best personal regards. Salvator.
