Photographer’s Note

This is a scene from our walk along the beach from Kumkoy Beach Resort to the old town of Side. It took us about an hour each way and if you're ever in the area I recommend it. We were lucky that we picked this day for the walk as the next day was stormy and it poured with rain. I purposely wanted to get the flash of light on the waves.....I liked the effect.

This is a very fine piece of beach photo well captured!
good low pov with great depth, sharpness, warm colouration and details in the shot
the reflection is a big bonus towards the composition

A bit different to my walk on the beach this morning at 1°C and Arctic winds!
You have used the shoreline very well to draw the eye into the scene and the glitter on the waves has worked well. Well done

Hi David,
The light on the water if especially nice on that little wavelet in the FG, I also really like the color gradient as the sand moves from dry to wet, very nice. Looks like you had another lovely winter vacation this year.
