Last month I was fortunate enough to stay in a very fine Istanbul hotel in the suburb of Sirkeci.
This was the view from the tiny balcony (more of a window box actually) taken very early in the morning.
The flower boxes added a nice touch, although I am not sure how they survive in the very cold weather.
The cobble stone street and the tram line can be seen in addition to the offices and a few shops on the other side of the street.
It was very cold, but I had a wonderful time in this location.

High points of view always convey spectacular results and this one is no exception because it shows a paradoxal view:
Robustness of concrete on one side of street opposed to delicate plants on the other side! The oblique perspective of scenery in much appealing.
