Sirince

Photographer's Note

This is one of the narrow streets of the small village Sirince on the hills, eastwards of the antique city of Ephesus.
I wanted to make a picture showing the old stone structure of the way in the late afternoon sun, but all of the sudden an old man with 5-6 sheep appeaared at the end of the street and walked in , in the door at right corner of the picture.

Antik Efes kenti yakınlarındaki tepelerde yer alan Küçük Şirince köy’ünün sokaklarından bir görüntü.
Aslında yolun tabanındaki taş döşemeyi fotoğraflamak istiyordum, ama birdem yolun ucundan 5-6 koyununu güden yaşlı bir adam belirdi ve doğru, hayvanları ile birlikte sağ taraftaki evin kapısından içeri girdi.

merhaba mesut abi
çok nefis bir kompozisyon.siyah beyaz seçimi bence daha etkili olmuş.koyunlarıyla beraber sokaktan geçen adam harika bir görüntü oluşturmuş elinize sağlık.

Almost a picture out of the previous century with the herdsman in the narrow street.
A difficult picture through the backlight, but you play nice with light and shadow.

Your b&w photos are always excellent, carrying some melancholy and nostalgia but is some way some optimism too! Here the light managment is excellent with these long shadows playing an important role. Great composition and framing! Congratulations, my dear friend!

Belle photo De ce berger qui descend cette jolies ruelle avec ses moutons, le NB est bien choisi pour nous montrer l' ancienneté de ses scènes, ainsi que cette batisse fort abimée par le temps. Belle prise Amitiés Thomas

Helle Mesut my friend,
You found a nice pathg with cobble stones and waited for the right moment. There's perhaps not enough light for the cobble stones to reflect the rays,but there's some ome right and what we see in the back is quite enough to create the good atmosphere of the moment.
