Photographer’s Note
I will try to show more about my village Adatepe..
portraits and textures mainly...
Aisha is one of my neighbourers..she sells herbs she picks and socks she knits on her stall on the way to Zeus Altar...she does not smile much but I tried to make her do so by telling her silly things:)

Nice portrait Fusun, she has a fine face.
The image is crisp and stands out well against the background. I like the note also as it adds something personal to the shot.

Doing a portrait is not easy specially when is not natural (live instant capture),except by surprise (natural), or after taking a lot of shots. Not to try to have one good ! But because after a lot of shots they don’t give anymore attention to you it becomes natural. It is not easy and it takes a lot of time.
Anyway for this kind of portraits I prefer BW. I’m not a PS expert (Like you !), what do you think about this try in workshop.

DOF is perfect, colors are crisp and natural. Expression in this woman's eyes are magnificent.

I really like this. It's nice and sharp and I like her expression - slightly questioning and with a hint of humour. I also like the colour on her head band and earrings. Well done!

Hi Fusun.
I like the simplicity of this composition and model. Excellent colors too. Imho, I would crop it tighter on top. I will PM you about removing bright spots. I have to explore possibilities first.

Last time we were there the wall on one side of her house had collapsed and she was busy shoring it up....how can I not give a smiley to Aisha...on whose back wall three lovely cats now hang out..:-)))
Great sharpness and if she is fair then she is fair...the workshop by Alan changes her basic colour so I prefer your rendition..:-))

I just had to comment on the stunning picture. She has a beautiful face in that classic way, fine, strong features and her head covering is just gorgeous! I so admire your work and will be studying to improve my own photos.
