| A small section of the façade of Haydarpasa station, the rail terminus on the Asian side of Istanbul. The station is a grand building just by the Bosphorus, and from here it is possible to travel all over Anatolia and, at least technically, to Syria, Iraq, Iran and towards Central Asia. The building was designed by German architects and inaugurated in 1908, a fine example of the neo-renaissance style. |
