Not really... This a scene from a marine festival in 2005...

These guys are representing here the old time, Ottoman Marines... They do not seem as huge as they were at the Ottoman time.. But their clothing, arms and mustaches are enough to give an idea...

Hello Bulent bey,
first I want to congratulate you to the positive results of our Turkish nation. It`s been an important and historical election for our homeland and I`m very glad about our new Turkish parliament.
I hope you`re fine, dear venerated friend. This photo you`ve made is very interesting, because it reminds us to the great, Ottoman times. May we hope that we`ll live these great times again as a unity where differences are enrichment.

Splendid capture Bulent,

The daggers look unharmful and the fallen moustaches ....signify that they have less vigour to fight....but wear beautiful dresses.
The body language is kinetic and I have the feeling I am watching some movie.
