Batman is a small oil city near the border of Iraq. Since two years we can see a lot of Iraquis refugees in the region.
The photo was taken under heavy heat to a street-vendor at the bus station.

Hi Anthony. I like the tight crop of your pic a lot. Sepia tones suit perfect with it but what I like most is the look of the boy which is deep, sharp, a little sad also but at the same time somewhat determined. Nice!

Very nice and effective shot Anthony. I like the tight crop and the Ilford has given a very nice tone to the shot. One my screen, it looks a little washed out, but I am guessing that is more post processing than anything else. If I was to guess, you might want to calibrate your monitor. Personally, although I really like the tight crop, I wish it hadn't gone through the eye. Either including the whole eye, or cropping through the nose would seem a better option for me. Might be a touch oversharpened as well, but overally, this is quite an impactful shot.

Wonderful capture. I really like your composition and the clarity of this photograph.
Superb!

bravo antony for this strong impacting portrait;-) i like the compo very much and the almost sepia colors... congrats!

Very nice framing (although I would prefer to see a bit more of the left eye). The use of sepia is very nice as well the DOF.

Intense and interesting shot, concentrated and to the point. The background is very good with the three tones adding life to that area without being intrusive, in some abstract way it resembles the shapes of the sesamos.

Exellent, the facial expression of the boy is very good, and you cropping serves it well. I like this one very much.

excellent shot, i like this composition a lot. you have lots of great stuff in your portfolio, i'll come back there later, good stuff
