This is such a dramatic sky - so many sunsets look like they belong on postcards or the tops of chocolate boxers but this one would never do it's not 'good enoiugh' for the likes of such printing - instead you have captured something far more important - the raw beauty of nature - the imperfect perfection of its beauty, the sublety and drama - I can even sense you in it and the way it stopped you in your tracks - your breath in this air - you are there in the wonder that led you to take this..........

Hello Leyla,
A good job on this brooding dusk skyline shot. It looks like you got the exposure about right. The big complaint that I have with digital cameras is the fact that low light photography is even trckier than with film. The LCD screens give us a false sense of security because the images always look like they are properly exposed, when in fact they are badly underexposed. I have been making too many exposure errors when I rely on these LCD previews. You did a good job on this exposure, but you can learn from my mistakes by bracketing your exposures more when you do nightime photography in the future (this photo is just fine, however).
