[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot shows the fourth Galata bridge, built in 1912 and destroyed by fire in 1992. It was a floating bridge and as you walked accross it you could feel it moving with the waves. On the pedestrian level beneath the road there were small shops selling cooked fish.

The shot was taken on fuji 200 colour film but as the sky was white, I thought it would be better in B&W. This also seems right for Istanbul which in early spring was a cold and grey city.

Hello Stephen
Very interesting view to Istanbul, good balanced picture.
Dayly workway. As you sayd, white sky is little bit difficult for photographer, but no matter.
Gray, dayly feeling is in your picture.
Morning fish to workers.

Hi Steve,

Great composition, fishermen selling fresh catch on side, daily life of Galata with a busy bridge. B&W also adds character. Well done.

Cheers.
