[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Trying to capture a dolphin in mid air while sailing in the ocean is harder than you might think! They are always above the water when you are not prepared or when you are changing camera settings. I tried for a very long time. Next time I WILL jump into the water and take better one :) Hope you will like it.

Hey!

This is the first dolphin photo I see on TE. It's definitely a good shot, I can only imagine how difficult it was. It's very vivid with the water splashing around, and it's sharp, and this is all great! I like it very much. Hope to see more dolphins in the future!

Regards,

Anu

Hi Wojtek
nice shot!
Looks like this is a common dolphin - Delphinus delphis.
You really have to dedicate some time to catch a dolphin... I know.. ))
Just have your camera on 500-1000 Shutter speed priority with dynamic area of focusing, and one eye looking through the lens and another one watching surroundings. This is how people that photograph dolphins work. After that sometimes their eyes look at different directions.. but work is work ))
Cheers,
Delfin

Very well done, it is hard to capture a detailed, sharp photo with vivid colours...
