COngrats - you are not too shy and thus you get very fine and humane picture!!!
Nice opposition fusun. Two worlds living together in harmony as neighbours. Rather symbolic, and what more, with a green background which is the color of peace, as everybody knows...

With women' wisdom and practicalness, life's better. I like your picture (remarkable the strong and interesting background) and Gal's note.

The contrast of their style of clothing is so interesting. One being traditional the other having obvious western influence. I applaud you for being so "nuts" as you say and getting these shots.. its something that does take a bit of courage to do. Nice work
hehe, great as usual.. I love the way you have light, colours and background under your total control.
I like this contrast that you captured, this is great idea.
I love the texture of the door.
I don't like though that you cropped them - esp. the arms of the girl in the left, and that they are so overwhelmed in this picture by those door,
and I don't like the fact I cannot see the right girl's face.
But it's still outstanding picture!

On devine deux beaux visages de deux jeunes qui sont pour nous l'avenir...Derrière une porte..va-t-elle s'ouvrir vers un monde meilleur?
J'aime bien cette photo Fusun, Bravo.
One guesses two beautiful faces of two young people who are the future for us... Behind a door.. it will open towards a better world?
I like this picture Fusun. Bravo
Çok çok güzel... Kısa ve öz yazılmış ama derin ve çok şey anlatan bir şiir gibi bu fotoğraf... Tebrik ederim :-)

a meaningful picture Fusun... Minimal and clever (as a lot of your pic I've just seen in TL).
Friendly :)

That's a really well conceived and executed picture, Fusun! It's so simple yet effective and could be used as an illustration of dualities of modern life. Your picture is the case where the form (two girls, two pairs of doors) speaks volumes. A very intelligent and technically accomplished picture!

Would have preffered a darker frame but apart from that its one of your typical pictures....excellent colours..great crop and post pro !!! Yes I agree with your view that post pro is an essential skill with digital photography and gives even ordinary pictures their "soul"!
They are two girls who are friends.....the boundaries are comfortably transcended...religion, lifestyle all that is meaningless...friendship is the evident foundation here..!

Fusun, since you've posted this photo I come back again and again to examine it and to identify why I am stuck with this one!
I think that mainly the multileveled concept of your photo alongside with the capture of a very spontaneous scene is what makes you pic looks excellent to my eyes. Congrats!

Beautiful picture that is so poignant, i think it shows how the two are so uncomplicated, friends. The complications and prejudices come with adulthood. I love the composition, expressions and colours. I also love Turkey and the opportunities for photography. My ambition is to visit Cappodocia.

that´s a realy amazing shot. the colours are fantastic and you could found out two different ways of life in Turkey. Great job!!!! It´s like the East having a friendly conversation with West. Even though the door is closed they don´t care and show they can be friends :)

yes I like the the way there seems to be so much of contrast between their upbringings .... good capture ... but I would have liked to see a bit more of the bottom of the frame just to get an idea what they were sitting on
cheers ..... Sarju
PS: Turkish people in your photos seem to be so very pretty ... quite a contrast to the rusty turky people i know over here ... he he ... please don't take any offence ... I was just trying to be a bit funny.

A terrific double protrait, Fusun. The color is out of this world, their contrasting looks in dresses and what they are doing, in fact even what each is doing contrasts with her attire--a really striking image. Brilliant photo!

Absolutely beautiful shot, dear Fusun. As you and Gal and many other have said, there is more even than what meets the eye (which is much, already). A superb, many-layered, multifaceted double portrait that says a lot. Wonderful!
