Hi george,
Very smart thought ,and your point of view really great! If only the weather helped you a bit more(you must to be lucky in istanbul too)..As not light may u could add some yellow or sth like it with a program. However u managed a really different shot of this so many times picked mosque!tfs...

Dear George Belitsakos,

we called this ugly building named skycage, most of people agreed for to disappoint the panorama of Istanbul, nowadays used while becoming hotel.

B.Regards
IBRAHIM

Hello George. An interesting photo. But unfortunately I do not know the building also. I was only recently in Istanbul and drove past at a looking similar building directly beside the Galata bridge. As my surprise explained the guide, it its a fire station. Thus one can errs. Your picture is worth seeing, because it shows new beside old one. A good confrontation. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi George,
Very good captured photo! Modern&old...You made a good job, congratulations.

Γιώργο γειά,πετυχημένη σύνθεση όπου το παλιό συναντάει το καινούργιο!Πολύ καλή οξύτητα και φωτισμός για μια λήψη εν κινήσει.

Witaj George!
Curious contrast architecture! I like the composition and frame. Interesting place and object. Good work.

Krzysztof

Hi George.

The contrasts are great. Wonderful! I like how you caught the difference between the new and the old ones!

Rgs, Oscar

Hello George,
It is really great contrast of architectural style. Very well composed and nice "natural" colors. Thank you for sharing!

Kalimera George,

Simple but interesting photo. The one in the front is Dolmabahçe Mosque, dated 1855. The other building -which I find ugly and unesthetic- is one of newly built hotels in Istanbul.

At the behind of the right minaret, I can see the the lighting pole of Beşiktaş İnönü Stadium.

Kind regards.

Tolga

I think I can help you George, If my mind doesn't fail, the mosque in the foreground, is Sultan Camii, just besides Dolmabahçe Sarayi, and behind it, we can find the Besiktas football club Stadium, and the tall crystal building in the background is the 5 star hotel Ritz Carlton. It's a good and original image that mixes as you say the old and the newest. :)

Regards

Felip
