The last stop of our trip was Cappadocia and its amazing valleys and rock forms which are world famous atractions.

We arrived to Goreme at 4.00am after quite long trip from Antalya. After very early morning climbing up to the hill and wonderfull sunrise (previus posts) we decided to have a short snap.

The afternoon was full of sightseeing. In the next 2 days we visited all valleys which are the most famous atractions of this area. Every single one has something different to offer, apart of one thing: extraordinary rocky formations which take you to the other planet.

You can notice specific and varied shapes depending which valley you go thru. Some of them are full of very high and lisson formations, the other ones have bulky and dumpy rocks inside. It`s really amazing that nature created something such unearthly. Still you can find some rocks changed by people in the past.

The recent years have shown that we should preserve the natural wonders of Cappadocia and its immense cultural heritage to a much wider extent. Nature herself which is the sole creator of this incredible beauty also destroys the cultural residue as she goes on creating new formations. Rock settlements collapse because of erosion and the local population deserts the erosion of not having a direct influence over the natural and cultural history of the region.

Taken with 10d and 50 mm lens (x 1.6).
Hope you like it!
