the folding earth Photo

Photographer’s Note

Sand formations at Uchisar in Turkey, near Cappadokya. The earth appears to fold, in great mounds. I took this image at sunset and the pinkish sand turns a brilliant orangey colour. Its a magic place to sit here, alone, in the evening looking at these miracle formations watching the earth change colour.
This would stand about the height of a 3 story home, but as an abstract it looses perspective.

WOW! You can not tell from the image how large they are. But they make a great abstract image. i love the light and texture of them.
