Dersim is a Kurdish city (nearly as big as Switzerland) of TR
who was destroyed in the 1930ies.
"Dersim" is Kurdish and means "Silver Door".
I gave this title because the photo reminded me on that city.
It was a Kurdish one, destroyed and captured by the Army in the 1938.
But anyway Dersim successed to keep his Kurdish culture, language and history.
Its official name has been changed to "Tunceli" in the 1930ies.
But everyone knows that its real name is Dersim.
So, this door is still robust,
althought the house is destroyed.
That`s why that door reminded me on Dersim, the "Silver Door". |
