| The old city of Istanbul lies between two bodies of water, to the south - the Sea of Marmara (Marmara Denizi), to the north east - the Golden Horn (Halic, dividing the two European parts of the city). Most of the monuments are located here, there are also crowded commercial areas and nice shopping centers. Not very far from the modern part of the old city one can see it's older part . Lots of interesting structures, colors, textures - in short everything to make someone with a camera happy. |
