[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken from the Galata bridge on the Golden Horn at 06:58. There is a lot of action on the bridge (postings to come - remember the days Adam let us post 3 a day ???) and on the water. Nice thing about the bridge is little platform on the sea level on which one can be very close to the water and the action. There is a lot of traffic, big liners, ferry-boats, fishing-boats and more. There was a heavy combination of fog/haze/pollution in the air that created these amazing golden colors. There is minimum PS work on this and other photos in this collection. The sights, the sounds, the smells and the athmosphere make the sunrise here very special.

Very nice picture here!
I love the reflection of the sun on the sea water.
The dark boat and fisherman are wonderful.
The sepia look makes the image look old, which is really beautiful.

very beautiful picture Amos..I really loved the 3 boats in different depths and tones...monochromity gave me a very different feeling too...
I really got excited as you can imagine...my hometown shown in such a beautiful picture...thanks...

What a scene! This is a kind of photo I always want to take but don't know how to do. It is very nice, the sharpness color and shading all great. IS there any special equipment you used for this photo or just the Nikon 4500? Thanks...
