Photographer’s Note
Erzurum madrasa with its double minaret. In the Middle Ages the madrasa (lit., "place to study", in Arabic darasa "to study") was a college for the professional study of the Islamic sciences, particularly jurisprudence but also the Koran, and such ancillary fields as Arabic grammar and philology, knowledge of which helped in understanding sacred and legal texts. This one was build around 1280.
I've found two picture almost like mine but one where the place is crowed with people and the other one it looks like covered by snow.
