Photographer’s Note

This photograph was taken in Lake Eymir-Ankara. One of the popular getaway spots of the residents in Ankara, Lake Eymir is about 20 km from the city center. This small lake has an area of 1km-squared, and came to existence as a result of snow-melting of Elmadag.
Even though there are many hikers & cyclists, you'll find it to be a quiet and peaceful place.
Lake Eymir is also surrounded by many restaurants, which all mainly serve fresh fish among other things. So don't hesitate to pop into one of these, after getting some fresh oxygen. It's also possible to go fishing there.

Hi Salim, beautiful image. the thing tha i like is the small road that come down from the mount in the upper side of the image!

Hi Salim,
When opening this image, the first thing that caught my eye was... that bending road in the back! Next I started to study the closer elements, and I find that lake quite beautiful framed by the dry grass on the shore...
Very nice composition, with the muted colours typical of the season...
