There are many bootblacks around Istanbul. This is a picture I took of a group of them in Üsküdar. Soem are working, some distracted as the man to the right.

Great capture of everyday life Yvonne with nice composition. It's good that most of them didn't notice the fact that you were making the photo. It's very natural. I think the frame wasn't necessary here but it looks ok.

This a really interesting, full frame of everyday life captured. Yellow cabs, boot polishers, restaurants.. Full of action. Well captuerd. TFS.

An interesting image of everyday life. I would have preferred a tighter crop to focus more on the bootblacks. A larger image could have made the detail of the stands more clearly visible.

Men deseam the shoes of passanten. A successful snapshot, which shows a cutout of the everyday life in a city. The picture keeps lives by the cars and trees in the background additional. Also your further pictures in TE show a typical personal handwriting to see and photograph i.e. your special kind. I could imagine that you could convert your photographic ideas with a small DSLR still better. Greeting, Wolfgang
