Photographer's Note
Ararat mountain (5137 m.)which highest the mountain in Turkey.Mount Ağrı, which is not only Turkey's but also Europe's most highest peak with a height of 5137 and mounting on the north - eastern part of Doğubayazıt valley, is one of the volcanic mountains which has the highest potential in connection with mountaineering tourism of our country.
The first top is big Ararat and the behind top is small Ararat.

Beautiful shot. Contrast between white mountains and blue sky is always very fascinating to me.
Good colour saturation too.
Well done.
To tell the truth, I did nor know that Turkey had so high mountains!!

Hi Mahmut
I love such perspective, remote mountains... Amazing place and capture. Only there is a little to much sky for me ;).
Greetings

I presume your screen name reflects Noah's Ark coming to rest on one of these mountains?

Merhaba Mahmut,
even from a distance, this awesome mountain is still very much in command. There is a bit more of the sky, but in my opinion it only adds to the greatness of the mountain.
Thanks for sharing!

Merhaba Mahmut,
In Western Europe, Turkey is linked to holiday on the beach, so it's not easy to imagine in the interior winter can be very cold and provide vistas similar to those in the Alps, I welcome you showing us that with this nice view of Mount Ararat. The sky blue deepening above it is very nice too, and you could give it more importance by cropping some of the slightly overexposed snow foregroung to have 1/3 snow, 2/3 sky.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
