Photographer’s Note
This is the dome of the ceremonial hall in the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. The Dolmabahce Palace is one of the many beautiful places to visit in Istanbul. It served as the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Some of the attractions include a famous 1 ton Baccarat lamp and a crystal staircase. The main building is surrounded by impressive gardens.
I enhanced the saturation a little bit and cropped the picture to center the image.

Hi Yvonne,
I didn't know about that part of the Palace which is marvelous along the water. It reminds me a small cruise on the Bosphor river. I took a lot of pictures of it with an old camera and once at home all the views were too dark to be seen...I was very angry as you can imagine. If only you could have taken the dome with a "fisheye" lens...

Me gustan mucho los domos he tmado algunos de ellos, son enverdad muy impresionantes, elegantes,bueno de todo, este es muy colorido y me imagino que el candelabro ha de ser muy bello.
